Dent of Charles Co MD in consideration of 5 shillings all his right and title in two tracts which his father Michael Dent "died seized of", known as "Dents Inheritance" and "Dents Addition"; witnesses were two of the justices of Frkln Co, Ja^s Sherrod and W^m Williams, along with Lancelot Chunn Hamilton; on the back of the deed, John Dent Sen^r appointed in writing Henry Dent of Chas Co his agent to acknowledge the deed according to laws and usages of the State of Maryland, using the same witnesses. 12 Mar 1810 Chas Co: Lancelot Chunn Hamilton appeared in court and made oath concerning the above power of attorney; Henry Dent then appeared in court to acknowledge the deed as authorized by the power of attorney. «ChD JB8:428»
