Welcome to Lynnie and Ned’s story. It all started in December 2001. They were both students at Brigham Young University. Ned was working in one of the buildings as a receptionist. Lynnie was looking for a job. She just happened to apply at the same place Ned was working. Lynnie finally got the courage to ask Ned out first. Although there is still a debate as to who asked who out first. Lynnie left for California just a few weeks after they started dating, but Ned followed her there. They continued to date over the summer. From there on it was only a matter of months before they decided they were right for each other. They got engaged on July 29, 2002.

Lynnie spent the next few months planning the wedding and finishing up school. After all she was supposed to graduate in December. Finally the big day came and they were sealed to each other for time and all eternity in the Los Angeles Temple.

Unfortunately life would start up again soon after. Ned went back to school and Lynnie went job hunting with her newly acquired degree in Health Sciences. Ned still had another two years to go to finish his degree in Exercise Science. In the mean time he continued working at BYU and Lynnie soon found a job as a Health Specialist for the Utah State Health Department.

Their first apartment was a small one bedroom basement. Even though it was small Lynnie managed to make it a home. Their first year of marriage was a pleasant one. Over the summer they even found time to go on vacation. They went to Seattle to see Ned’s sister Desire’s graduation. They also took a trip to Glacier National Park and on their way helped Ned's grandparents with Live History days at the Miracle of America Museum.

When December rolled around they decided they would move to some place a little bigger. So they moved to a slightly larger 2 bedroom apartment. It’s part of a 4-plex in south Orem. Ned only has one Semester left before he gets his bachelor’s degree. Then it’s off to grad school, at least they hope.
